No.1570 z a é # a Introduced by Senator Zubiri RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE HONORABLE JINGGOY EJERCITO ESTRADA FOR HIS INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTION AS SENATE PRESIDENT PRO TEMPORE DURING THE THIRD REGULAR SESSION OF THE FOURTEENTH CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES WHEREAS, the Honorable Jinggoy Bjercito Estrada exercised his duties and responsibilities as Senate President Pro Tempore with utmost diligence and competence; WHEREAS, he complemented the hard and long hours of plenary work of the Senate President by assisting and presiding over the deliberations and proceedings on proposed legislative measures; WHEREAS, as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Labor, fmployment and Human Resources Development and of the Joint Congressional Oversight Committee on Labor and Employment, Senator Estrada actively participated in floor debates on measures concerning workers’ compensation and benefits, migrant workers’ welfare, and labor and management relationship issues; WHEREAS, his familiarity of the Senate rules and procedures and his considerable experience as a lawmaker contributed much to the efficient parliamentary proceedings in the Senate and the passage of hundreds of national and local bills; WHEREAS, Senator Estrada’s exemplary work as a legislator and as President Pro Tempore helped the Chamber achieve a very productive Fourteenth Congress: Now, therefore be it RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, To commend, as it hereby commends, the Honorable Jinggoy Bjercito Estrada for his invaluable contributions as Senate President Pro Tempore during the Third Regular Session of the Fourteenth Congress of the Philippines.
