This study investigates the primary purpose of examining the ever so changes witnessed
in the various gender roles. The document reviews the perils of women across the industries
and the discrimination in landing vital leadership roles. The various comparisons across
geographies have been done and described as to how the women of colour suffer the most. A
stereotype exists amongst the role descriptions of leadership and a pre-conceived notion of
women not being able to handle them all. There are citations of a plethora of women political
leaders being named with phrases that have not been in good taste. As women leaders clearly
navigate through various societal and organizational terrains which comes through cultural
ambivalence. It defines the two barriers in the name of Structural and Attitudinal barriers. The
structural barrier talks about the pragmatic problems of women to make their points heard
