Current Situation and Development Trend of the Research

and Production of Biodiesel

Abstract The current situation and development trend of the research and preparation of biodiesel , which is the sub-
situte of diesel , in foreign countries and China are introduced in this paper .
And the advantages &the problems in the prepa-
ration &application of biodiesel are also analyzed . The importance of biodiesel industry to the national petroleum supply , na-
tional economy , environmental protection and re -adjustment of agriculture industry is discussed . The prospect and develop-
ment pattern of biodiesel industry in China are pointed out as well .
