SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENTS/ OIC- SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENTS 1 In line with Republic Act (RA) No. 10533 or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 and the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program, this Office will conduct Regional Mass Training for Grade 10 Araling Panlipunan Teachers (RMTOT) on the new curriculum “Contemporary Issues” on June 28-July 2, 2017. Specific venue will be announced later. 2. Anent to this, the trainers for RMTOT (sce Enclosure No.1) are advised to attend the meeting on June 2, 2017 at 8:00am at Walingwaling Conference Room, DepEd-ROXI, F. Torres St., Davao City 3. The participants for the said RMTOT (see Enclosure No. 2) are advised to give classroom activities/tasks to their students to cover the number of training days. On the other hand, they are also advised to refer to the learning competencies (see Enclosure No. 3) for the 3 weeks teaching-leamning activity with their students prior to the RMOT. 4. All participants are entitled to 2-day service credits in accordance with DepEd Order No. 53, s. 2003 entitled “Updated Guidelines on Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers or Compensatory Time-Off for non-teaching personnel per Civil Service Commission (CSC) the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 2, s. 2004 on Non-Monetary Remuneration for Overtime Service Rendered.” 5. Board and lodging, travelling expenses for trainers and other expenses relative to the conduct of the RMTOT shall be charged to the downloaded Human Resource Training and Development Funds while travel and food expenses during the one-day Trainers’ Meeting shall be charged to their respective division/school or local funds, all subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
