I am a 2nd year student of the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T) Delhi, India.
I.I.T. Delhi is considered to be amongst the top engineering colleges of not only Asia, but
also the world (only 1 out of 200 applicants is granted admission through one of the
toughest engineering entrance examinations in the world).

I am in the B. Tech Programme in Mechanical Engineering, currently in my 4th Semester.

As an important part of my Degree requirement, I am seeking three-month
Internship/Practical training during the months of May-July 2006, after the completion of
my 4th Semester in May 2006.

I have gone through your web-site and the areas in which you are working. I realise that
you conduct research programmes related to .I am interested in working on projects
related to the same, and was particularly interested in working with you on any current
project that you might be working on.

I am interested in working on the project, within your university, from May-July 2006 (3
months).
