Ref:- Arising. @e@@ It is brought to the notice of the undersigned that field staff are not informing the quality control staff immediately on completion of patch work and well before laying of subsequent layers for verification of the patch work executed, even though instructions are very clear. After laying of subsequent layers only, quality control staff are being informed about the execution of patch work. This is not in order. Further such activity can be construed as a deliberate attempt to cover up the misdeeds. Hence all the Superintending engineers dealing with state roads are directed to ensure that as and when patch work is completed, the same has to be brought to the notice of the quality control staff immediately and well before laying of subsequent layers facilitating the quality control staff to inspect the patch work for which circular instruction in this regard was also issued by the C.E /Q. C .
