Notes:

1) HODs are requested to ensure that department offices are functional for
registration purpose on May 20, 2017 (Saturday) and July 29, 2017 (Saturday).

2) Lectures will be held on following Saturdays with the time table of the day
mentioned against them:

21-Jan-2017 (Sat) - Schedule of Friday shall be followed.

1-Apr-2017 (Sat) - Schedule of Tuesday shall be followed.
1-July-2017 (Sat) - Schedule of Monday shall be followed.
7-Oct-2017 (Sat) - Schedule of Thursday shall be followed.

3) If the requisite number of lectures cannot be scheduled (requisite number being

40 lectures of 50 minutes each for a 3-lecture a week full semester course), the
instructors may, in consultation with the students in their respective courses,
may decide on to schedule lectures 4th Feb, 8th April, 5 Aug or 28th October,
2017.

4) Extra classes should not to be scheduled on Gazetted Holidays.

5) No class, quiz, presentation, or any other academic activity can be scheduled

on April 22, 23; July 15, 16 and November 16, 17, 2017.

6) Saturdays and Sundays falling within the examination period will be used for
scheduling examinations. If the need arises, examination of some courses may
also be scheduled on days preceding the mid-sem/end-sem exams.

7) Lectures for modular courses offered in first half of semesters/summer term will
commence on January 5, May 23 and July 31, 2017 whereas, lectures for
modular courses offered in second half of semesters/summer term will
commence on March 6, June 19, and October 3, 2017.

8) Final examinations of modular courses offered in first half of semesters/summer

term will be conducted during Feb 27 Mar 4, June 16 17 and September 18
23, 2017 whereas, final examinations of modular courses offered in second
half of semesters/summer term will be conducted during April 24 May 3, July
17 18 and November 18 27, 2017.
