Things to Consider
Need an Oracle log-in to access reports, but uses the
Oracle Applications Self Services Web Applications
Requires XML Publisher (XDO Engine) for publishing
reports with logos and formatting
FSGs must be defined in the General Ledger
Standard reports must be assigned to the request
group assigned to the Report Manager
responsibility(ies)
Ensure the GL: Data Access Set profile option is set
correctly for the Report Manager responsibility
(pointed to the correct ledger or ledger set)

DBAK2011 42
Things to Consider
Templates are report-specific
Templates need to be defined for each report published
through Report Manager, including Standard reports
Can use the seeded Generic FSG Template with any
FSG report
Cannot modify the seeded Generic FSG Template
Standard report templates must be defined from the
XML Publisher responsibility
Run reports with content sets only in the sequentially
processing mode
XML Publisher does not support the parallel type
processing with content sets

DBAK2011 43
Things to Consider
Cannot use Report Manager to define or update FSG
report components at this time
