To connect to the equipment see the follows:

LAN:
You must install the TCP/IP protocol
on your system and configure it.

Serial cable:
You must install "Null Modem" driver by
"Control Panel-Modems" using the correct
INF file that you can find at
(SCT install Dir)\drv\DirectConn.inf .
Check the presence of "LctDirectPPP" entry in your
Remote Access list.
