Culture is the beliefs, customs, and arts of a particular society.

We live in a world that

has different culture. It varies in different things such as clothes, foods, religion and many
others. Culture is a beautiful thing. It plays a vital role in making up a persons culture.

We Filipinos have very unique type of culture. We have learned different values that
up until now, those values are still being practice throughout the country.

I, as a Filipino I value my family. Where in the family is the first agent of

socialization. My family is the one who mould me and greatly influenced the way I behave
and how see things. And as we all know Filipinos are family oriented. They are willing to
take the risk. The good example of this is the Overseas Filipino worker (OFW). They work
hard for the family. They are willing to leave their love ones just to earn money for their daily
needs .

Knowing our culture is important to us because its our background, its our identity
and it makes us person we are today.
