Abstrakt:
V predkladanej tdii sa venujeme problematike vuby klasickej grtiny v nefilologickom
odbore filozofia. Zdrazujeme, ak vznam m tdium tohto jazyka pre pochopenie
zkladnej filozofickej terminolgie, ktor m aj v tomto modernom svete 21. storoia tatt
medzinrodnej odbornej terminolgie. Upozorujeme na problmy, s ktormi sa vyuujci
starogrtiny stretne v slovenskch podmienkach. Prvm je nedostaton, v niektorch
prpadoch mono poveda e a nejestvujca jazykov prprava tudentov prichdzajcich
tudova na vysok koly, druhm je absencia vhodnej uebnice zameranej na tto zaujmav
a nesmierne dleit oblas tdia.
Abstract:
This study deals with the teaching of classical greek language in the non-philological branch
of study philosophy. We emphasize the importance of studying this language for
understanding the basic philosophical terminology, which has, even in this modern world of
the 21st century, the status of international scientific terminology. We draw attention to the
problems with which teachers of ancient greek encounter in Slovak conditions. The first is the
lack, in some cases it can be even said the non-existent linguistic preparation of students
coming to study at university, the second is the lack of adequate textbooks aimed at this
interesting and extremely important area of study.

Resum:
Pouvanie odbornej terminolgie je najvraznejm rozliovacm znakom medzi laickm
a vedeckm prstupom. Niektor odbory s vak na odbornej slovnej zsobe postaven, bez
nej by nemohli ani jestvova. Medzi takto odbory jednoznane patr filozofia, ktor za svoj
zrod va vekm mysliteom starovekho Grcka. Jazyk, ktorm tto predstavitelia svoje
vznamn diela psali, patr tak k neoddelitenej sasti tdia na vysokej kole v odbore
filozofia. Na Slovensku je situcia vo vzdelvan posluchov filozofie komplikovan
absenciou vhodnho uebnho textu. Cudzojazyn uebnice, ktor s k tejto problematike
k dispozcii, reflektuj in podmienky vo vyuovan, ne s akmi sa stretneme na Slovensku.
Preto je iaduce, ba takmer nevyhnutn, aby bol v o najkratom obdob vypracovan text,
ktor by tento problm vyrieil.
Rsum:
Use of scientific vocabulary is the most significant distinguishing feature between the laic and
scientific approach. Some fields are built on a specialized vocabulary and without it they
could not even exist. Such fields unambiguously include philosophy, which owes its birth to
great thinkers of ancient Greece. Language, with which these representatives wrote their
major works, is included as an integral part of university studies in philosophy. The situation
in Slovakia in education of students of philosophy is complicated by lack of adequate
textbooks. Foreign language textbooks, which are available on the same subject, reflect the
different conditions in the classrooms, than are encountered in Slovakia. It is therefore
desirable, almost necessary to prepare in the shortest period text, which would solve this
problem.
