TITLE: Job Readiness (Responsibilities & Banking)

OBJECTIVE: By the end of this group, participants will learn about banking, budgeting and preparation for
employment.
HRS: 1 Hour
MATERIALS: Interview questions, activity sheets, banking withdraw and deposit forms, checkbook, pens and
pencils.

Students will gain skills to prepare them

for job readiness and future living.
INTRODUCTION
5 MINS

Interview Divide the youth into pairs.

Ask them to take five minutes to interview
each other. Each interviewer has to ask the
ICEBREAKER other 3 interview-type questions. Bring
15 MINS everyone back together and ask everyone
to present the 3 answers about their partner
to the rest of the group.
 Budgeting Sheet Youth will fill out
budgeting and banking accounts activity
sheets to help them learn to manage their
ACTIVITY money.
35 MINS Resume Workshop Youth will fill out a
resume worksheet from the Making It
Book, and then the group will discuss the
activity.
Facilitator will recap important or the most
talked about topics with the group before
dismissal.
