A typical day/couple of days in the office:

1. With whom did he/she talk?

She said she talked to team members, physicians, vendors, many people in the
community, The Chamber of Commerce, Social Services, and Law Enforcement over the
past week

2. What meetings did he/she attend?

Her response was too many. She started with the internal meeting with
administration being every week, managament around once a month and a team
member associate group on a regular basis. On the external level she listed the Drug
Task Force, Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club.

3. In what professional reading or writing activities did he/she engage in either print
or electronic formats?

She said it was usually always electronic. Outlook email for communication
purposes. Word, Excel or Powerpoint for Presentations. Online meetings are done on
Skype for business

4. Could she help identify major journals, professional conferences, funding

agencies, online forums, and databases in your field?

She couldnt come up with anything pertaining to this question.

5. Could she give you ideas on current research topics in your field?

She agreed endangered species would be a good topic pertaing to me wanting to

be a Conservation Officer. She also added wildlife management techniques, crime
rate that they run into, and natural phenomenon as topics relating to this field.
Relating to Probation Officer she listed drug abuse pertaining to prevention, rates
and effects Homeless children rates and effect on their lives, people in the lower
subculture rates, and children with emotional and phyiscal needs in communities.
