The training course on ‘Urban Floods: Challenges and Mitigation Measures’ from 28-30 June, 2017 presents a great opportunity to the officials of the Irrigation Department to update themselves about the strategies for successfully meeting the challenges of urban flooding. 3. A brief information about the aim of the programme, methodology proposed, level of participants to be nominated along with the Name and contact details of the Course Coordinator are given at Annexure-I 4, It is requested to nominate not less than five officials (engineers and those involved in Disaster Management) from Irrigation Dept., for participating in this training course so that the Department is better prepared to face such a Situation in the future.
