PRIME JOB FUNCTION:

Plant electricians maintain the electronic equipment for industrial plants and Mining
equipment. Usually they travel around the companys sites performing routine
maintenance on equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical problems.

Maintenance electrician is required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as

safety glasses and earmuffs, ect as their work can be dangerous.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To ensure company Procedure and Policies are adhered to.

To ensure a HSE friendly atmosphere exists and is promoted.
To ensure excellent House Keeping exists, in all areas including, working tools and
workshop equipment.
To ensure that the use the correctly PPE in accordance with Arkan and Client
Procedures and Policies.
To ensure that you attend daily PSI meetings on time.
To ensure all maintenance deadlines are met on the Companys Fleet.
To ensure that the companys fleet is repaired to and above OEMs standard.
The job can be physically demanding and some of your work may be at height, for
instance when repairing excavators.
Ability to examine and analyze welds for defects
Knowledge of the principles of electric power generation

PRIME JOB FUNCTION:

As a heavy mining tyre fitter you will be responsible for performing maintenance, fitting and
preparation of tyres to a range of highway and off highway vehicles. Undertake repairs and
servicing to Arkan plant and equipment wheels and tyres.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintain plant and equipment wheel and tyre service and operation records.
Assist maintenance personnel with general servicing and housekeeping
Take reasonable care to ensure your personal safety and health and that of other
personnel whilst in the workplace.

PRIME JOB FUNCTION:

The role of the Maintenance Tyre Supervisor is to maintain plant and equipment wheel and
tyre service and operation records and assist in the preparation of monthly Plant Report as
well as prepare an updated tyre component life report for all Arkan heavy equipment and
assist in auditing the system. This position also requires relieving tyre fitters as & when
required.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensure data is processed accurately and according to deadlines.

Ensure all filing is up to date and in accordance with the filing system.
Liaise with site planners on site to gather accurate information.
Ensure General Duty of Care standards are adhered to in the workplace.
Ensure that reports are dispatched to the required destinations.
Ensure that warranty claims are forwarded to respective OEMs.
Ensure that asset transfers are effected in the maintenance system in a timely manner.

DUTIES:
