In this work, based on the investigations of the moral principles of

the philosophers Hume (1711-1776) and Kant (1724-1804), it is


intended to outline the fundamental lines that presuppose the moral
foundations of each author. If, on the one hand, Hume derives from
vivid sentiments and propensities for virtue and reproofs of vices, on
the other, Kant bases his entire study on the thesis of a moral law,
wholly bound up with a pure and therefore a priori reason.
