Qualifying/Class Wide Questions

1. Have you been to a food festival? Yes

a. Which festival did you attend? Why? I went to the Austin Wine and food festival. I love
going to it every year because I love to try new things and It gives me something fun to do and I
enjoy the cooking demos and free samples.
b. What kind of food was your favorite?There wasnt any food that stuck out in particular,
but I love basically anything spicy.
c. Were there any negatives? It was very crowded and I think they needed more
restrooms, but overall It was a great time.
2. Have you been to a music festival? yes
a. What festival did you attend? Why? I have attended many music festivals, mostly in the
electronic scene. Some that I have been to are Spring Awakening in Chicago, Electric Forest in
Michicgan, EDC las Vegas and many others. I work as an audio engineer so I go to many. I
really love music and festivals offer so many big acts and new music to listen to.
b. What kind of music acts were your favorite? I like Psy Trance music and Trance.
c. Were there any negatives? Not enough restrooms and as with most festivals it got dirty
by the end of each day.
2. Would you attend a New Orleans jazz+food festival? Yes
a. Why or why not? I love trying new food and music. I am not that into jazz, but I play
many instruments so I have an appreciation for all music. I love going to festivals with friends so
I usually drag everyone along for an adventure or sometimes I bring my family to come with

c. If yes, did you like New Orleans? Yes, it was full of life, good food and I felt like the city
was full of energy.

3. Tell me about a great experience you had at a festival. I went to electric forest , which is
a 4-day music festival with different genres of bluegrass, electronic, reggae and so many
more music genres. They have amazing food and many vegetarian options. The pizza
was my favorite part. I went with a huge group of buddies and we all decked out our
camp site and even brought a trampoline and blow up matresses. We upgraded to VIP
for the showers and private viewing areas. Overall, I had a good time and I loved
watching the artists paint cool art projects and do morning yoga.
