TASK: Look at the following image. Analyse the Mise en Scene and describe why

the shot has been set up as it has. Remember to consider all five elements.
The positioning of the characters is set up in a way as to show the dominance and Kingship of Odin
with him being the highest elevated with Thors mother and companions only slightly lower which
symbolises they are highly ranked and respected but not to the degree of Odin. Thor himself is
shown on level ground with the guards to symbolise perhaps his warrior nature yet the striking
crimson of his cape shows his difference and possible superiority to them. The lighting primarily
emanates from Odins throne to show his power
