DirectX issues
--------------
Please be aware that NuCalc requires DirectX 3.0 or above, preferably
DirectX 5.0

Windows 95/98 users:

You can download the latest version of DirectX from Microsoft's site,
www.microsoft.com/directx/download.asp. DirectX 5.0 is part of Windows 98,
so if you are using that operating system you should not need to upgrade
your DirectX drivers.
Windows NT users:
Microsoft has not yet released DirectX 5.0 DLLs for Windows NT 4.0.
You can upgrade to DirectX 3.0 on NT by installing Service Pack 3.
This is available for download at www.backoffice.microsoft.com/downtrial/
moreinfo/nt4sp3.asp. It can also be ordered at www.microsoft.com/
ntworkstation/info/order.htm

Please also note that some 3D graphics cards may give NuCalc incorrect
information about their capacities, causing problems when rendering 3D graphs.
If you think you are experiencing such problems, try checking the
"Use Software Renderer" setting in the Preferences dialog.

Screen Depth
------------
We regret that NuCalc does not currently support 1 bit, 4 bit, or 8 bit
screen depths. Your video card must support 15 bit or higher screen depths
in order to use this product.
