STANLEY STAN HENDRICKS

(Stoic) When you left to Cali for college I was doing really well. The developer that Joe Black introduced
me to took me under his wing my senior year and taught me a lot about the real estate game. I was
making a lot of money fast straight outta high school, and hanging out with a whole different crowd. You
know me. I was never into drugs, but I was having so much fun, and I didnt want to seem anymore
different than I already was. That high felt like... (Embarrassed) Well, lets just say I was hooked. I was
cool for a while, but I couldnt shake it. It got to the point where I needed it every day to function. I
couldnt afford coke anymore after I lost my job, so crack became my drug of choice. Believe it or not, I
used to own a lot of property around here, but I lost everything. This spot is all I got left. I thought I had
lost it actually, but when I got out of rehab JT handed me the keys. He saved it from foreclosure and kept
the payments up for me. (Remorseful) When you got back, I was at Cees funeral. I have never seen you
in that much pain. That was the moment I realized there was nothing more important than my family.
For the first time in years drugs didnt matter. I had a small window of clarity and I jumped right through
it.
