NOTICE Consequent upon the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in W.P. No. 267 of 2017 in Dar-Us-Salam Educational Trust & Ors. Vs Medical Council of India & Ors., after the successful completion of the mop-up round by MCC/DGHS, waiting list of 10 times of the vacant seats (MBBS/BDS) is being provided to all participating Deemed/Central Universities for conducting mop-up counseling at their end. In this connection, the following point may be noted that the mop-up counselling which will be conducted by Deemed/ Central Universities at their end should be followed by the below mentioned principles:- 1. It should be fair, transparent and widely publicized so that enabling the participation of candidates across the whole country in an open competitive manner. 2. Student should be selected from waiting list as per the inter-se- merit. 3. There should not be any solicitation or marketing from participating Deemed/Central Universities for pressurising any of the candidates for taking admission into their college. 4, Regarding NRI policy the directions passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (C) No.689/2017 dated 22.08.2017 in the case of, Consortium of Deemed universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Anr. Vs. UOI & Ors. should be followed. Candidates are advised that MCC/DGHS/MoHFW is restricted till the allotment of seat in the online counseling of Deemed/Central Universities. Candidates are directed to contact the college authorities regarding the fee structure, hostel information, certificate and any other information related to college fees/bond/penalty (if any) from the respective college. Any dispute arising from these issues, MCC DGHS/MoHFW will not be responsible for any of this matter. Notice posted on 28.08.2017
