Rent a car or a moto! The island is rather small but its still the easiest way to get around.

Dont bring fancy swimwear, some of the best places with naturally heated pools, have
sulfurous and iron waters, so expect your swimwear, skin and hair to turn temporarily orange.

Cant miss places:

Ferraria if youre feeling extra courageous, pack a flashlight and go there at night, youll have
the place all to yourself, an incredible sky

Where to eat

Fish: Restaurant just above Caloura with daily fresh fish and if youre going to try Lapas
(typical Azorean dish) this is the place It might not be a bad idea to call and make a
reservation, the restaurant is rather small and usually there is a queue.
