He is a 3rd year student of Btech programme in Petroleum Engineering at Indian Institute of

Technology (Indian School of Mines). As the Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering
Department, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, I have had the opportunity to observe Mr Shivendra Rajpoot.
His participation and interaction in the classes and other departmental events has been
appreciable.

Mr Shivendra Rajpoot has qualified JEE ADVANCE, which remarks for a good aptitude in
Physics and Mathematics. He is pursuing projects in gas lift and related fields under my
mentorship. He has had an excellent curriculum record with OGPA of 9.17. He was a part of 30
days Training Programme with ONGC during the summers of 2016 and had the chance to gain
exposure and grow in a research as well as technical environment. He is an excellent athlete and
has represented the university in many national level badminton tournaments. He is also pursuing
his hobby in music and has grown to be a good drummer.
