The purpose of the document

The aim of this document is to provide guide lines on 'installation and configuration of
Filezilla.

Scope
This document is addressed to users of Geodata.

Installation

From the "Start" menu, select "Run", type the following path and press "OK":

\\gdfs\software\Filezilla\FileZilla_3.5.0_win32-setup.exe (This link is only for users in

the Geodata Turin Office )

1. Accept the license agreement; click "I Agree"

2. Press "Next"
3. Select all fields and press "Next"
4. Press "Next"
5. Press "Next"
6. At the end of the installation, Click "Next"
7. Press "Finish"
Configuration

At the end of the installation, Click on the icon on the desktop to start Filezilla

Select File> Site Manager

Press the button New site Write GEODATA and press ENTER. Fill in the fields as the
example shown below.

Host: ftp.geodata.it
Port: 21
Protocol: FTP- File Transfer Protocol
Encryption: Use plain FTP
Logon type: Normal
User: Username (The short name )
Password: xxxxxxxxx

And press OK
To connect, select from the pull-down menu item Geodata.
