Partner Self Service
Six Different Roles defined in PSS:
1. Guest User Limited Access
2. Partner Contact Partner Level Access
3. Partner Admin Partner Admin

4. Cisco Internal Admin PSS ADMIN


5. CAM Access to only to his Area
6. Cisco Employees Read Only Access

This guide serves as guide for PSS Internal Admin.


PSS, now available in 16 languages.
Partner Name, Mergers or De-mergers, etc. cannot be changed using PSS.

Partner Self Service (PSS) Access Privileges:

GSTS/Customer Registry Analysts or Theaters need to get PSS Internal


admin Access based on the theatre(s) they support.
CAMS need to raise case for CAM access, if not automatically provided.
Instruct CAM to be set up in CTT
If they are CTT, inform the user that they will have automatic access to PSS and read/write
access to only partner accounts assigned.

All Cisco employees get default Read Only access


Partner Admin has access only to his/her BeGeo
Partner Contact has access only to his BeGeo or as provided by Partner
admin
Guest User is a user who has a CCO-ID

Partners created in PSS are


automatically registered.
To differentiate from Partners
created online, reg-flag is
marked as A, which means no
ICPA was signed.
Super Admin must provide a
CCO ID to associate before
creating a partner

Company Description in PSS
tool.
Choose Update Company
Data & search the company
Select one Company (BeGeo)
Edit Company Description in
local language & English.
Review & Submit.

PSS admin can update


Locations (sites) in PSS tool.
Choose Update Company
Data & select one company
(Geography)
Search for the Location, you
can filter location based on
Name/Country.
Select one location (site)
Update, Review & hit
Continue.

1. You can also Click on Edit to Update Address


2. Allow this site to be shown in Partner Locator
3. Once you make changes, please hit Update for system to retain the latest inputs.
4. Choose any one of the locations as Head Quarter.
5. Delete a site

7. Delete a Location

PSS admin can delete


locations in PSS tool, only if
no contacts are associated
to that location.
Choose Update Company
Data & select one company
(Geography)
Search for the Location,
click on Delete.
To delete a location with
Contacts associated, you
have to first delete all the
contacts in Contact Tab.

8. Add a contact (employee)
Choose Update Company Data
Search & Select a Company
Click on the number of contacts against
the Location, or select Location and
click on Edit Contacts.
Two sections are displayed.
Go to Add Contact (section 2)
Enter as much details as possible.
The contact is associated as a Partner
contact if there is no CCO-ID
If there is a CCO ID, an email is sent to
the Contact for approval.
Once approved, the CCO ID becomes

9. Delete a contact (employee)
You can Delete a contact from Contact Management tool.
OR
If you know the Partner and the location to which the contact is associated to,
PSS admin can search for the contact and delete it.
Once deleted, the contact becomes a guest user.
Partner Admin cannot delete the last contact associated to a partner, however
PSS Admin can delete any contact.

9. Delete a contact (employee)

A warning message is
displayed before Contact
deletion.
If Click Yes; the Partner
is deleted. The contact
becomes a Guest user
again.

10. Move a contact (employee)
You can Move a contact from Contact Management tool.
OR,
If you know the Partner and the location to which the contact is associated to,
PSS admin can search for the contact and move to a different location.

10. Move a contact (employee)

Select Company
Select Location
Select Contact(s) you want to move to a different location.
Choose Action drop-down Change Location
Select Location and click Submit after reviewing.

1. Choose Reports from


the drop-down menu.

12. Add Cisco Testing ID (CSCO#) to a user profile

1. Choose Contact Management


2. Search the Contact
3. Select the contact
4. Add/delete CSCO# or CCO#
or edit Contact Access

Static Localization

Now, PSS is statically localized. You may choose any of the sixteen languages as the language of display
PSS PDM (Contacts & Location Management) installed on different JVM and is available only in English.
You can change your language selection only at the home page.
For Country China, Partner Name/address & contact name is solicited in Chinese Any Data operations
cannot occur without acknowledging / entering Chinese equivalent.
