If it is Used at other times, care needs to be taken to avoid draining the battery. This manual assumes that the Audio Connection Box is already installed in your vehicle. For assistance with installation please refer to the installation guide. Regarding the general use of the media player, related software like ‘Tunes and your car's entertainment system please consult the related operating manuals, If you need any assistance in using this product, please contact your Renault dealer. The compatibility of all USB devices is not guaranteed. Warning! Do not connect or operate media players and devices fo the Audio Connection Box whilst driving, Using the original CD Changer If 8 CD changers connected then the Audio Gonnection Box cannot be used. CD CHANGER, Operating instruction Getting started Is your iPod player up-to-date? Before you start, please check your player Firmware, and make sure it is upgraded to the latest version available. For iPod firmware visit htto-/wwww apple. com/suppor/ipod, Renault only guarantees correct ‘Audio Connection Box functionality with the latest version of firmware We recommend setting up playlists on the player for easier navigation of music with the car radio or steering wheel controls. To do so, please check the corresponding operating guide. Selection of the media devices connected to the Audio Connection Box MP3 player, Pendrive Devices and priorities selection iPod and the USB memory stick when connected to the ‘Audio Connection Box automatically detects th interface and selected as a source. When both iPod and memory stick are connected USB has priority. To select the iPod, disconnect the memory stick and AUX in. When both iPod and AUX IN are connected, AUX IN has priority.To select iPod, disconnect AUX IN. Warning, if the AUX IN extension remains connected, the iPod will remain paused. When both USB and AUX IN are connected, to use AUX IN, disconnect the USB memory stick. Playback control Select CD Changer as a source on the head unit to start playback of the selected source device. To do so, select the CD changer as a source by pressing the source button (A) on the radio headunit. Display shows then TR—-CD— For commands please refer to the following table. Due to the different charactericteristic of the playback devices (players), there are slight differences in operation.
