Fuel Probe Interface Check

1. Place PFD1 in configuration mode.

2. Scroll to the 1st CAL page using the FMS knob.
3. In the Current Tank field, select RIGHT using the FMS knob and ENT key.
4. In the Sensor Inputs field, visually verify numeric values appear for the Right 1 and Right 2
sensors. All other sensors should be ignored. Reference image below.

Note: It is important not to change any values listed in this page as it may result in an inaccurate
indication of fuel quantity. Values listed in the image(s) below are for reference only and may not
reflect production values.

5. Sensor Right 1 corresponds to the right in-board fuel probe and sensor Right 2 corresponds to
the right out-board fuel probe. If dashes -------.------- appear after any of these two sensors, then
the corresponding probe should be checked/replaced as there is no communication between that
probe and the G1000 system.
6. Repeat steps 3-5, selecting LEFT in the Current Tank field to check the left fuel tank.
