Galvanisation shall not be less than 550 GSM (both side) and base metal thickness shall not be less then 16 ram, In case bidder proposes Auto Tracking system in Module mounting structure, the ‘material specification of the tracking system may be proposed and submited by ~ bidder during detailed Engineering. The materials proposed shall be subject to NTPC approval and acceptance based on NTPC review. ‘All materials shall be fabricated in shop such that welding inthe field shall not be required, Connections: Allfasteners (nuts, bois and washers) shall be of Stainless steel (SS204) type for the following connections: {Solar PY module to purlinfstructure connection, Ai) Botts required to loose and tighten seasanaly for seasonal iting in the madule mounting structure, Fasteners forall other structural connections shall be bolts of grade HDG 6.6 or 8.8 in line with 1S provisions. All fasteners stall be provided according to the ‘connection design requirement. All bolts shall be tighten wth designed torque ‘mechanically i te ground mounting stucture system wih seasonal tit arrangement. the ‘Column post and rafterfbeam at seasonal tit point of retation shall be preferably hinge plate and bolt system or bushing system, Coating for Structural Steel Works: MMS frames, post, base plate, assembly of the array structures, etc. shall be of MS hot dip galvanized. Hot dip galvanization shall be as per IS: 4759 or relevant Indian standard and the coating minimum thickness shall be maintained by 8 ‘micron (if not mentioned in cl 6.3). In case offered support is made up of a 294 ‘Aluminium, anodized coatings on aluminium as per IS: 1868 (Gr AG25) shall be [Provided for mounting structure |S: 4759 - Hot-ip zine coatings on structural steel and other allied products IS: 4736 - Hotdip zine coatings on mild steel tubes 1S: 1868 - Anodic coatings on aluminium and ts alloys, IS: 2628 - Recommended practice for hot-ip galvanizing of ron and steel |S: 18961 - Hot dip aluminium-zinc alloy metalic coated steel strip and sheet (pian) |S: 9172 -Recommended design practice for corrosion prevention of ‘steet structures Pre Hot dip Aluminium-Zine alloy metalic sheet and Pre Het dip galvanised metal sheet as above in cl 8.3 used for purln and rafterfbeam, Suitable measure shall be taken by providing necessary designtreatment forthe exposed cut edges area, Bidder shall submit for review and approval of Engineer-in-charge, Bidder shall also use principles goveming design that shal prevent or reduce the risks of corrosion as per IS 9172 and relevant $ codes. Design Parameters: The Ground mounting structure system which constitute a photovoltaic acray(s) shall be designed to withstand the extreme fair wind (positive pressure) and ‘adverse wind (negative pressure) on design titangle cf solar photovoltaie arrays), The design caloulations shall be supplemented with neat sketch and reference various ciauses of Technical specification and Indian standards. For MMS design] Janalysis and determination of forces, where computer program (preferably |STAAD) is used, the contractor shall aubmit a write-up on computor program ose | and its input and cutput data for review and approval of Engineer-in-Charge [An increase in allowable stresses of structural materials should not be considered| [during design analysis, Wind pressure for following loads shall be considered as follows: (1) Dead Load of stee! with all members, fitings & panels.
