A 9-Year Olds Birthday Message

Today, I am turning 9 years old. I thank my Heavenly Father for my life, and for giving me a loving family.

So, as a way of thanking you for being here, I want to share with you something on my birthday. Its
called the Gift which is the king of all gifts.

During birthdays what you do you think of? Party, foods and gifts right? But all these things are not
permanent. Bukas gutom ulit, kakain ulit. Maluluma ang gifts, puputok ang balloons. But there is one gift
that lasts forever. And that gift is the gift from God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have an everlasting life.

I accepted Jesus as my giftI believe his promises of blessings, good health, safety and everlasting life
with Him. Do you also want that gift? Yes or no? I hope you do.

How do we accept this gift? First, admit that we are sinners. We sin every day. Second, let us believe
that Jesus is the gift from God and He came to make us His children. Third, lets make Jesus as our
personal Lord and savior. That means, we have to follow Him-talk to him every day through prayer and
read the bible. Understood?
