Assignment 4-Introduction section of a research paper

Important points to keep in mind when writing summaries

of relevant papers from literature.

I think these points must be applied when writing summaries from literature:

1. Focus should be on what is already known about the research question.

2. It should a logical flow and should not copy whole sentence as it is from research papers.

3. Keeping in mind the plagiarism factor, we should not copy somebodys research work and
present it as our solution.

4. Correct citation format should be used while referencing.

5. Summary should be enough to explain to your views in 4-5 sentences.

6. We should focus on the research data, variables and its manipulation using various tools and conclude
properly about the results of the referenced article. And finally, we can reach to our research question.

7. While summarizing we should not forget our actual topic we want to focus on keeping in mind not to
repeat our content again and again.

8. Give a clear idea of your research contribution and provide answer to the research question with
proper hypothesis in the closing of introduction section.
