Choosing Life Partner- Maria Shandi

In life, the most important choice that we must make is choosing Jesus as our saviour. That decision
ensures eternal life. Choosing a life partner is the second most important choice in life because it
determines our future which will ensure our salvation. If we choose the wrong life partner, we will
lose our focus and will be unproductive in everything. Well be ineffective in our studies, work, and
business that God has entrusted to us. Ive witnessed the destruction of a family due to making the
wrong choice in a life partner. It can take someone away from his family and consequently, many
parents feel they lost their children. The feeling of loss can kill them.

The power of love is amazing, its stronger than death. So do not awaken love before its time,
because its power can transform us. The right life partner will love, respect and be responsible to
our parents as we are responsible for them. Nothing can make any parents happier than to see their
children have a harmonious family. Choosing the right partner is the best gift we can ever give our
parents.

Ironically, many of us dont realize that choosing the wrong mate effects our afterlife. Many decide
to change an eternal life by choosing the wrong spouse fo the sake of temporary pleasure.
Unfortunately, the wrong life partner caused them to experience hell on earth and brought them
regrets.

So, in choosing a life partner, the central principle shouldnt be to please me, but to support one
another in growing and serving the Lord. If someone chose the wrong person to marry, she cant
change her spouse with another person. Therefore, lets find God first before we look for a soul
mate.

His desire is for us to enjoy having a family and future thats best for us so we may be effective in
serving Him. When we find a God sent life partner, well experience a life so beautiful here on earth
till eternity. Lets wait for the right time for the right life partner because He makes all things
beautiful in His time.
