What is your opinion? was the trick question the Pharisees asked Jesus in their attempt to
trap him into saying something controversial. Jesus outsmarted them as he tried to get the rule
makers and scorekeepers to see the bigger picture of Gods generous mercy. In families and
on Facebook we would do well to invite one another to think and reason together rather than
stirring up arguments with loaded opinions. Developing the virtues of understanding and
empathy develop conscience and the ability to follow the Lord from our heart much better than
stirring up controversy and keeping score.

340 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. Welcome two
new adorers; David Fatkins and Michael V. Jones who committed to the two late hour
vacancies. What a blessing! Thank you both and God bless you! We are continuing the
process of placing two adorers on each daytime hour. So, we are again asking for your
commitment to a specific hour, to strengthen our program. Would you believe..at one
time we had 600 plus committed adorers? Since we have no vacancies at this moment, you
can choose the hour most convenient to your schedule and reap the blessings that come down
on all committed adorers. Call 330-690-9661. Remember, if you appreciate the fact that you
can enter St. Augustine Church anytime during the day..light a candle, kneel in prayer..its
the committed adorers who keep those doors unlocked for you!
