PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The concern of the man to move from one place to another


materialized in various means of transport, the objective of
shortening distances, overcoming obstacles and reducing travel
times, was evolving throughout history.

Land

The invention of the wheel was the fundamental piece for the
development of means of transport; The Orientals adopted two-
and four-wheel trolleys, this form of displacement was adopted
later by Greeks and Romans, However, for a long time, the main
means of transportation were animals such as horses, camels,
oxen or donkeys.

Sea

It is estimated that the first means of transport to cross rivers,


lakes, lagoons, were floating logs, they were later replaced by
canoes, driven by oars

Air

Balloon trips have a romantic component that makes them a


fantastic adventure. It was discovered that with hot air they
could move in height. But the conquest of the air space was
achieved only after World War II with the use of airplanes.
Now, over the years, THE MEANS OF TRANSPORT ARE MUCH
FASTER.

THE PLANE: It IS THE FASTEST MEANS OF TRANSPORT.

THE CAR: YOU CAN TRAVEL TODAY IN AUTOMOBILE WITH


GLASSES, HEATING, GPS, CD PLAYER, PORTABLE COMPUTER AND
CELL PHONE.

It IS AWESOME to realize how transportation has been evolving


over the years, and we can be sure that this development will
not stop; it will continue to evolve as time passes.
