REPORT ON VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK

As per letter no. 230183-71/2016/KVS/Jpr Vigilance Awareness Week was observed in Kendriya
Vidyalaya Jhunjhunu from 31st Oct to 5th November. During the week many activities like banner
display, Pledge administering, speeche by teachers, students, principal, quiz competition, poster making
etc. were held to make the students aware about constitutional rights, duties, wide spread corruption,
its reasons, effects and ways to eradicate it.

On 31st October a banner displaying Vigilance awareness week was displayed at the main entrance of
the vidyalaya. The baner picturised the ways in which corruption can be eradicated.

On 2nd October the CCA incharge Mr. Rajesh Yadav informed the students about Vigilance awareness
week and told about its significance. Then a student of class XII science Kumari Priyanka delivered a
sppech on importance of being vigil about rights and duties.

The principal of the vidyalaya Sh. Sumer Singh also encouraged the students and the staff to be honest
in dealings and performing duties. Then the principal administered the Pledge to the staff on vigilance.

On 3rd October the senior most teacher Mr. Mahender Singh gave speech on being honest in doing our
assigned duties like timely coming to the vidyalay, completing the assigned task well in time, doing the
teaching learning process honestly and effectively. Then Ku. Vandana of XII science also gave a speech
on Corruption, its causes, effects and solutions also.

On 4th October an inter house quiz was conducted on Vigilance awareness.

On the last day of the Vigilance Awareness Week a poster making competition on vigilance awareness
was conducted. Students were very creative in picturising the ideas on vigilance awareness.

It is hoped that the Vigilance awareness week celebration will have a deep impact upon tender minds
of the students and help them to be vigil and aware citizens of the nation.
