Ecological Succession School Farm Observations:

Figure 1:
Representing bare rock in the first step of Primary Succession you have concrete. The red
arrow is pointing towards an area that looks like it is covered in rust but this is licken. The licken
in Primary Succession is breaking down the concrete into soil so that new plants can start
growing

Figure 2:
In figure two the concrete has already been broken down into soil and new plants have started
growing in this area. This is the second part of Primary Succession.
Figure 3:
Figure three has already been growing and more mature shrubs and bushes have grown in this
area. Where you have more diverse amount of plants and trees.

Figure 4:
Finally in the last stage of Primary Succession you have a climax community. Where all the
plants are fully grown. Such as the trees in the background they have been growing for many
years.
