Read Colossians Chapter 3 Together
Read verses one and two again. Then read Hebrews 11:6. What significant word do
you notice in both verses? How can you tell what someone is seeking in life? What
does set your affection mean? According to Colossians 3:1-4 and Hebrews 11:6 what
are some reasons we should seek God? What are some things that hinder, distract, or
keep us from seeking Him?
What are the six things we are to put off in Colossians 3:8-9? Discuss how
we as Christian young ladies need to watch out for these attitudes and actions
creeping into our hearts and lives.
What are the 8 things we are to put on in verses 12-14? Which of these 8 things do
you think your family would say are your strongest and weakest areas?
Share any other thoughts you have from Colossians 3.

Ask & Seek, Surrender & Trust

Pray and tell the Lord that you want to seek those things which are above! Ask Him to
help you set your affection on Heavenly things. Pray that you would continue to learn
what it means to surrender each area of your life to Jesus. Specifically pray and yield to
Him any areas that you have been trying to control yourself.
