Greeting Delta Sisters,

growth of women educators and It is with great excitement that I begin the second year

listened to your many suggestions on how to improve our chapter.

In Our Thoughts & Prayers 3 At our upcoming September meeting we welcome Cheryl
Dinner Meeting Info 3 Spaulding, representative from Habitat for Humanity who will
speak on behalf of the Garcia Santiago family, the recently
opened Habitat Restore and the need for volunteers at the site of
the newly constructed house in Burleigh.
In the aftermath of the devastation in Texas and Florida, Theta
Chapter has offered to collect gift cards and forward them with a
heartfelt card to the various DKG Chapters within each state. We
ask that you be as generous as possible in reaching out to help
those less fortunate. On a chapter level, we are pleased to
announce that Barbara Kennedy from Opulenza DesignsJewelry
will be selling jewelry and taking orders at our September
meeting. Proceeds from that sales will be donated to our
chapter.Take a look at her selections at

some early Christmas shopping. If you wish to make a purchase
but are unable to attend the meeting, please contact Megan
Bramble, our program chair.

Above price includes an assortment of cheeses, fruits, and empanadas from Empanada
Mamas in West Cape May and a Tasting. Non-alcoholic beverages will be offered as

Program: Representative from Habitat for Humanity and Opulenza Design jewelry sales.
A collection will be taken to purchase gift cards to assist victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma.
