End of Quarter 1 Skit

Purpose: To improve fluency, pronunciation, and knowledge of the vocabulary and


grammar concepts in chapters 1 and 2.
Assignment: With a group of 3-4 students, you will write, practice, and perform a skit
about a French student coming to visit an American school. Every member of the group
must participate in writing and performing the skit (at least 2 lines per person). You may
only find a maximum of 5 additional vocabulary words to enrich the script use what you
have learned this quarter! Costumes and props are encouraged.
Grading: You will be graded for the following categories:
Script creative, logical, grammatically correct
Pronunciation
Preparedness skit should be memorized in the final performance!
Teamwork
Timeline:
Monday Given assignment
Tuesday Draft of script due. Work day: sign up for appointments with Ms.
Corbett to get feedback
Wednesday Work day: sign up for appointments with Ms. Corbett to get feedback.
Thursday Performances memorized! Bring French food to share.
