The current BPO employees in the Philippines, as of April 2017, are 1.4 million (Briefing, 2017).

According to the David Leechiu, the percentage of BPO employees in National Capital Region is 80% or
1.12 million employees of the total population of BPO employees in Philippines (Cabuenas, 2016).

We are students from Polytechnic University of the Philippines Sta. Mesa Campus taking Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management. We are conducting a study entitled
'The Impacts of Mass Media and Social Media on BPO Employees in NCR on their Traveling Behavioral
Intention' for the fulfillment of our subject Research 4103: Fundamentals of Research.

May we inquire on the current total number of BPO employees in NCR and in the whole Philippines for
