Classification
Classification is the process of arranging things or items in groups or classes according to their
resemblance and affinities and give expression to the units of attributes and give expression to the
units of attributes that may subsist amongst the diversity of individuals.
If the classes are formed in such a way that the frequencies are evenly distributed throughout the
class interval, it is justified to assume that the frequencies are centred at the mid-value of the class.
But in some cases this assumption will not be true or hold or valid., it leads to error which is known
as grouping error. Grouping error affects the accuracy of the results.
