Lesson idea implementation: The teacher will preview a book that was made using PowerPoint. She will talk
about how she created the book herself and how the class will work together to create a counting book. She
will show the students how they can watch/listen to the book at the computer center. As a group the class
(with teacher facilitating) will create the front of the book. The teacher will explain that over the next week
she will call students to her one at a time to create the pages of the book. Once the book is finished the
teacher will send a link home in a newsletter to the parent so they may view it with their children. This project
should take a week to complete.
