Dear Dr. Chavez:

We both know that nowadays Mexico is part of a global world that hardly needs professional and
well prepared teachers to help in guiding the future of our country. Considering this educational
authorities had hit the jackpot in developing a new Education Reform that considers teaching
English, the global language, to all levels Mexican students.

Personally I would be honored to provide my knowledge and experience to be part of such a hughe
quest. I hardly believe I could retrieve to my country by preparing English teachers capable to apply
different methodologies to develop a Second Language Acquisition. Professionally, this will be a
great opportunity to apply different techniques in order to teach language, provide methodology
and help in the developing of a programe that encourages speaking the language such as CLIL, TPR
and not only Grammar or Reading translation.

The correct and successful evolvement of this ambitious Education Reform will allow Mexico to be
part of eager negotiations, to increase business and will help to acquire more and better investment
opportunities, economically speaking. Also we will be able to open children and teachers minds to
new horizons, since learning a new language also involves learning a new culture, a new way of
thinking.

As I have already said, this wont be an easy task, our Homeland hardly needs the best of us to
prepare Her seeds, it is time to respond to our Mothers call and provide it with the best she already
has. To make this project succeed we need to be together, to never forget that Unity makes strength
and that Mexican people has always been known because we know how to cooperate among us.
