OBJECTIVES

1. To promote controlled and legal water use activities.

2. To promote good management practices which make
efficient and sustainable use of water resources.
3. To safeguard the reserve flow of water for downstream
ecological demands and basic human requirements.
4. Identify the resource of conflicts and reduce and solve
water use conflicts.
5. To promote catchment conservation measures to
improve water quantity and quality.
6. To enhance governance in items of (i) Finance (ii)
Procurement (iii)Monitoring.
7. To improve the ability of catchment and riparian areas so
as to provide adequate Hydrological services.
8. To protect water sources dams, ponds, swamps, marshes,
streams, rivers, water courses, and other bodies of
flowing or standing water whether above or below
ground so long as they are within our area of operation.
9. To honor all government acts e.g. water act.
