Summary:
Issue:

Unisphere for VMAX security lockbox is locked.

Received the following error while trying to start Unisphere:

The lockbox stable value threshold was not met because the system fingerprint has changed. To reset the system
fingerprint, open the lockbox using the passphrase /opt/emc/SMAS/jboss/standalone/data/cst/csp.clb.

Change: System Stable Values have changed.

Resolution:
1. Stop the SMAS service. The steps to start and stop the server are described in the
Unisphere for VMAX Installation Guide.
2. Find the <lockbox_password> used on install. For more information on the lockbox
password, refer to the Unishpere for VMAX Installation Guide.As part of the installation,
you can accept the default password (host_name@Smas-1) or you can configure a
custom one.
3. Change directory location to:
Windows: install_location\jboss\bin
Linux: install_location/jboss/bin
4. Type the following command:
Windows: service.bat updatessv <lockbox_password>
Linux: ./initcst.sh updatessv <lockbox_password>
5. Restart the SMAS service.
