Throughout the placement, Peter attended Whole School Curriculum Days, Curriculum Area Team
meetings, College Meetings and Year Level Wellbeing meetings. In the time that he was here,
Peter contributed to the LOTE Curriculum Team, participated in discussions and worked
collaboratively with other team members. Peter also has a wide network of Indonesian contacts
outside the school setting, which he made strategic use of in his planning. He identified his own
professional learning needs within the classroom and sought out teachers from other subject,
‘areas to observe and learn from. He even had the opportunity to work with the Senior VCE
Indonesian classes and assist them in conversation practice. The entire time he was at
Williamstown High School, | was thoroughly impressed with his receptiveness and his attitude to
becoming the best teacher he could be.

Peter developed a good rapport with colleagues, particularly those within the LOTE Curriculum
Team. Whilst he did not have the chance to communicate with any parents, his behaviour was
professional amongst other staff members. In his short time at Williamstown High School, Peter
also gained knowledge of our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework and
‘was able to uphold these values and expectations in the classroom. Once in a position of full-time
‘employment, Peter should remain punctual in attendance and take as many opportunities as he
‘can to get involved in extra-curricular activities such as camps, sports days and excursions.
