Dilip Sanghavi FOREWORD My association with PEATA (I) has been for the last three decades. In the past, PEATA (I) had released three CDsin the year 2002, 2010 and 2014 in respect of compilation of circulars, notifications, etc. issued by various authorities such as M.C.G.M., U.D., etc. The CDs were released by the respective Municipal Commissioners and the CDs were well accepted. Earlier also we had compiled Circulars in Book form in the year 1985. The user had to physically search out the circulars from index. It was cumbersome work. The search was very easy when the CDs were prepared. After the release of the last CD, there have been lot of changes in the working of Building Proposal department in M.C.C.M including introduction of Auto DCR, ease of doing business, etc. We had few meetings to discuss about collecting the Circulars / Notifications issued after the last CD was released. It was decided to photocopy these documents and arranging them under the different Categories & Headings. ‘This C.D Contains D.C.R 1991 as amended up to October 2016 and circulars of M.C.G.M_ and motivations of other authorities from April 2014 to 15" December 2016. The C.D. also include available date and notifications from various authorities such as Urben Development, C.R.Z. Environment, forest and climate changes, MHADA, S.R.A, Military authorities and some court cases related to building Industries. Aextract of different fees, premium, charges etc. has been included as guideline towards various payment for building permission, Shri. Tarun Mota, President PEATA (1) and the Past president Shri. Manoj Dubal supported me in this, effort. Accordingly, the CD is now prepared with support from PEATA(I) members Mr. G.D. Chiplunkar, Mr. Lalson P. Charles , Mr. Milind Changani , Mr. Vilas Nagalkar and Mr. R.B. Bhalwanka and Shir . Vishwanath from PEATA\|) office. We are sure that the CD will be useful to all persons connected with the development ofthe City and to Municipal Engineers, Architects, Developers and General Public. JL?
