Thomas Jefferson

My person is famous because he was the third
president and wrote the declaration of
independence.
Thomas Jefferson was born in 1743 and died 1826.
He was born in Shadwell Virginia. In the early life
Thomas Jefferson was born into one of the most
prominent families of Virginias planter elite. His
mother Jane Randolph Clan Descent from English
and Scottish royalty. His father Peter Jefferson was
a farmer. Thomas Jefferson grew up and He was a
draftman of the U.S. declaration of independence;
the nations first secretary of state in 1789 to 1794;
second vice president in 1797 to 1801 and the third
president of United States of America in 1801 to
1809. He got reelected in 1805.
 He was also one of the authors declaration of I
independence and statute of Virginia for religious
freedom. In addition he was a horticulturist,
architect, inventor, historian, philosopher, and
plantatior owner. As a boy Thomas Jeffersons
favorite pastimes were playing in the woods
practicing the violin and reading. Thomas Jefferson
freed two slaves and then freed five more slaves.
On July 4, 1826 on the fiftieth anniversary of signing
of declaration of independence Thomas Jefferson
died. He was 88 years old.. He was a part of our
country because he freed 7 slaves and helped our
country.
