Experience:
It was a great and memorable experience of students and

The visit was pleasurable, informative, interesting and
successful for the students and faculties which gave them a
lot of pleasure, learning and will help them in future to a
great extent. We were accompanied by three of our most
experienced faculty teachers .

TIMELINE
The students, after proper security check were admitted to
the visitors lounge from where they watched the
proceedings of the day.
The Assembly had been suspended for some time but on
resumption of business matters concerning Malaria,Dengue
andChikunguniya in areas affected by chilly winters were
taken up.
THE EXPERIENCE OF VISIT.

It was a wonderful experience in which we got to see the

scenic beauty of vidhansabha.
We also got to personally attend the hearings \where we
could understand the state's issues. Later on while leaving
we were given an amazing opportunity of meeting our
honorable Speaker Ram Niwas Goel and also got to click
picture with him. Though you can see all the proceedings
live on TV through almost static cameras. And keep yourself
appraised of what our elected members are doing. But being
there in the same space as they are is an experience in itself.
A fascinating part for me was the formal protocol followed
by the members. They all address the chair of the house,
which is called Speaker of house. And they speak to each
other through him or her. It is almost a school classroom
kind of environment where students seated on their uniform
red benches are not allowed to speak to each other. They
must communicate through the teacher.
During my visit, it was the Question hour that was going on.
And after few questions, the opposition staged a walk out.
We got to see many political leaders and a couple of business
leaders. As I walked out of the building, it was like a first-
hand learning of something that we have known since the
days of our first social science lesson in school.
Students and faculty members interacted and captured the
photograph with the Honorable Speaker of Vidhan Sabha , Ram
Niwas Goel,. talked very kindly with us and motivated students
with inspiring words. Students were very happy and excited by
meeting with our Honorable Speaker of Vidhan Sabha , Ram Niwas
Goel, then took a group photo outside the Vidhan sabha. By visiting
and attending the live interaction of Delhi Vidhansabha, students
and faculty members learnt about how the Government is
functioning. Total 55 students and 02 faculties visited the live session
of Delhi Vidhansabha.
