Dear Dr. Marias :

We, the College of Nursing students of Manila Adventist College would like to conduct a study

that is entitled CONTEMPORARY RELIGIOUS MUSIC AS AN INTERVENTION TO

POSTOPERATIVE PAIN. Our Main Objective is to determine how contemporary religious music can

affect post-operative pain and we would like to have 20 respondents, Male post-operative patients ranging

50-60 years of age. 10 would be the control group and the other group would be the experimental group.

Our target date to conduct our study is October 20-22, 2017. We will make sure that the data that we will

be collecting from this research will be kept confidential. We are hoping the our request would merit a

positive response about this matter because this institution is one of the best fertile ground for research

and that would be a big help and advantage to all of us. It would be our greatest privilege to conduct our
