6 Machinery and Equipment

With the new activity establishments that is going to be opened, the

company will specifically incur new equipment/machinery for each activity

establishments. To elaborate, the new equipment/machinery will focus on

technological necessities that will cater each activitys requirement to operate the

desired service to be given. The list of new machineries/equipment shall be listed,

together with its use and capacity for the operation that the company will be offering

to the market, are as follows

(5) Desktop Computer Set- this equipment will be the main usage of

children when trying out the game developing activity, for the software

(Kodu Game Lab) is to be installed to such computer and the computer

shall be the means in using the specific software.

(5) Tech-Tablets this equipment will also be the main tool in providing the

animation activity to the children, where, the tablet will be specifically for

the use of the app developed by Google and other functions of the tablet

will be blocked.

(2) Sets of Mindstorm EV3 Lego- this tool shall be used in the robotic

activity from which one set contains different parts to build a robot together

with the specific instructions to be used in handling and creating such

robots. Also, this robot is already equipped with the necessary program to

control it for children to use when the robot is assembled.

(3) Air conditioner unit- shall be used for utilizing comfortable temperature

around the assigned building.

 (3) Facilitator/ Instructor Desktop Computer- this computer unit shall be

specifically used by the employees to the assigned activities for the

purposes of monitoring the vicinity as well as the component the children

are handling during the activity. This computer may also serve as an input

for database and collection of information with regards to operating

information that may be used for organizational means.

(3) Hanging LCD television, this component shall be used for the instructors

so that children may be directed as efficient and effective and fully

appreciate the service/activity that is going to be introduced to them.

(3) Wired Telephone- shall be used for the communication of vital

information through different departments of the company.

5.7 Utilities

In the operation of such activities, the utility requisite in handling the new

services is the electricity consumption to which such devices will consume as the

operation of the business is ongoing. With that said, since some new services are

more technology-based, the business will also need internet connection to fully

utilize the different features of the specific software that will be used in the

activities. The company will not worry to any increase in rental cost since the

establishments that is being built is inside the fully constructed operating building

of KidZania and these new buildings will only be an expansion or rather addition

to the many services that KidZania is offering. Other costs that might incur in such

utilities is the maintenance as well as repair of certain utilities in the operation of

such activities.
